The Nottingham Open, established in 1887, is a historic tennis tournament held annually at the Nottingham Tennis Centre in Nottingham, United Kingdom. Played on outdoor grass courts, it serves as a key warm-up event for Wimbledon, attracting both men’s and women’s players. Over the years, the tournament has undergone several transformations, including periods of discontinuation and reclassification. In 2011, it was reintroduced as an ATP Challenger Tour and ITF Women’s Circuit event, and it has since been a fixture on the WTA Tour. The 2024 edition, known as the Rothesay Open Nottingham, took place from June 10 to 16, featuring top players competing for titles in singles and doubles categories.
