The Oval

Historic venue, that hosts the final Test of the summer

About The Oval

Located in Wembley, London, Wembley Stadium is an association football stadium. On the location of the original Wembley Stadium, which had existed from 1923 until 2003, it opened in 2007. Since it is England’s national football stadium, it serves as the venue for most home games for the national team as well as the FA Cup Final, which is the crowning achievement of the country’s main domestic club football championship. Considered a centre for the English game, it is widely recognised as one of the most famous football stadiums in the world. With 90,000 seats, it is the biggest stadium in the United Kingdom and, after Barcelona’s Camp Nou, the second largest in Europe.
